Saint Francis’ Church is known to be a very warm and welcoming church. Called together as a Christian Community in this place, we strive to listen to, and learn from, God's word.  This, together with the celebration of the Sacraments, is designed to send us out to others to share with them the love, joy, and peace which Jesus brings.

We come from all backgrounds, ages, and stages of belief to form one family, united through Jesus.  We come together, as we are, seeking to deepen our relationship with God through the study of his Holy Word (the Scriptures) and the celebration of the Eucharist.

Saint Francis' Church stands within the Catholic tradition of the Church of England.  But whilst we know the importance of our heritage, of what God has done through his Church and what has been handed down to us, we remain forward thinking and continue to serve the community as the Holy Spirit leads.

But in order to show our commitment to the importance of tradition, the Parochial Church Council (the local church's representative body) has passed certain resolutions about the sort of ministry we desire for our parish, and we look to the Bishop of Ebbsfleet (pictured below), one of the Archbishop of Canterbury's Episcopal Visitors, for pastoral and sacramental care and episcopal oversight.
