Saint Francis’ Church is a very warm and welcoming church. We believe that we are called together to be a community who listen to, and learn from, Gods word.  This, together with the celebration of the sacraments, sends us out to others to show them the love joy and peace which Jesus brings.


We are a community of faith and love coming together from all backgrounds, ages and strength of belief to form one family, united through Jesus.  We come together, as we are, seeking to deepen our relationship with God through the study of his word (Holy Scriptures) and the celebration of the Eucharist.


Saint Francis' Church is in the Catholic tradition of the Church of England.  Whilst we know the importance of our heritage, of what God has done through his Church and what has been handed down to us we are forward thinking and continue to serve the community as the Holy Spirit leads.


In order to show our commitment to the importance of tradition, the PCC has passed certain resolutions about the sort of ministry we want in our parish and we look to the Bishop of Ebbsfleet for Episcopal care and oversight.
